Healthcare managers are at the heart of the business side of healthcare. They plan, direct, and coordinate healthcare services and facilities.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual salary for health service managers was $100,980 in 2019 and the job outlook for these roles are strong, with employment projected to grow at the much faster than average rate of 32% through 2029.

Health Informatics

Health informatics is a growing field that combines information technology with healthcare systems to analyze medical data and improve the quality of patient care. According to Payscale, the average annual salary for a health informatics specialist is $67,080.

Long Term Care

Long term care covers a range of services and involves supporting the personal care needs of patients. According to Payscale, the average annual salary for long term care positions is $65,108.
